I have been waiting for a long long time for this day to arrive. Today, the day finally arrived. As you all know it is the Chinese New year. This year is the year of the ox. My family and I was supposed to go out yesterday night but before we could get out we were too tired and wanted to rest for a while but fell asleep without brushing my teeth and changing into my pyjamas.
Then today morning, I woke up thinking it was early in the morning around 1 am to 2 am. When I checked te time it was 7 am ! We need to visit our relatives but everyone was still sleeping. I quickly wake everyone up. We rushed evrthing. I found out that my camera was not working and I forgot to charge my handphone yesterday night. so there would not be any pictures in this post.
We were dress up and wished my grandmother a happy new year, in return I got a red packet. It was my first red packet of the day My parents also gave my grandmother a red packet. Then we had our breakfast, it was cooked by my grandmother. But it was cold as we woke up late and eat late. My cousins were also in the house. And I got more red packets. I did not have any time to talk to them as we were already late for many things. Actually I could talk to them everyday.
We went to visit many relatives most as we went out the whole day. We met most of them once a year, during Chinese New Year. Some houses are very boring, there was nothing to do and the adults have their own conversation. But some houses, there are many things to play such as computer playstation and gameboy, this type of stuff as they are rich. You would know when you look at their houses.
Although it is an tiring day, I got many red packets. And I am looking foreward to tomorrow.
