This morning my school has its very own Chinese new year celebration. It was very interesting! For those who did not come you will regret. It started with students coming into the school hall and getting noisy but soon the celebration starts.
The first item is a performance by our school Chinese orchestra. They played two songs that were meant for the Chinese New Year. Of course they played well, they had been training so much how and their efforts were not wasted. Ze xuan is somewhere at the back so i could not really see him.

An interested audience except for pandu who was playing with his phone.

Next was a performance by the three buskateers. The team consist of Joejyn, Jia Peng and Bok Woon. They won the first ever science busking competition. They performed some cool and amazing science stuff. It was truly amazing that's why they won the competition.

Mr Chia trying the fizzy apple juice.

After this was time to give out prizes for best decorated classroom for each lever. My class did not win anything but there are also decorations in my class room.

Photos of decorations if anyone is interested.

Next was a performance by the CLDDS about two parents and how they bring up their children. It was also interesting but the non-Chinese would not understand as it is in Chinese.

A short explanation of the play

The kind parents.

Next was some dancing. They were very good. One of the best dance I ever see. Some of them are Victorians but for the two people in the picture, I do not know them.

Two people dancing.
The Chinese New Year celebration ended by inviting our guest to sing who are people from old folks home. I admit that their singing are not bad at least better that some people who do not know how to sing.

This Chinese New Year celebration was indeed a unforgettable one and one of the best celebration I ever seen.
